ZoneMusicReporter will once again host the ZMR Music Awards Live in New Orleans, LA on May 18th, 2019.
It will be held at The House of Blues
in the French Quarter.
Last year's event was a great success and
turned into quite the celebration. The industry attendance was outstanding. "The Tribe" was out in full force. It truely has turned into a must attend event for the ZMR community.
We have had attendees from all across America, Canada, Europe, Australia, Africa and India. Check
pictures from last year's event at our ZMR Award Show Facebook page. It will be the perfect weekend to celebrate, not just this year's Award
Nominees, but also the genre that we represent as a whole.
Renée Blanche, the host of "Night Tides" on KCUR, will once again be our Master of Ceremonies.
The line-up of performers is outstanding and covers many of the musical styles that ZMR represents.
These artists have generously donated their time, talent and effort to make this show a night to remember. All of the proceeds will be used to cover the
cost of the show, and the remaining funds (if any) will be used to seed next year's award show. In addition, we would like to thank the generous sponsor donations we
received from many of the artists that believe in this endeavor. Without your initial support, this show would not be possible. However, our work is
not complete.
ZMR will again host a Meet and Greet at The Vacherie in the heart of the French Quarter. This was a not to be missed event last year.
It was a great night for meeting old friends and making new ones in the atmosphere of an old world French Quarter setting.
The event will be catered and according to our food critic, Mr. Billl Binkelman, the food was second to none. The Meet and Greet will be held on Friday May 17th, 2019. Hope to see you there!
